SV	En Israel had Jozef lief, boven al zijn zonen; want hij was hem een zoon des ouderdoms; en hij maakte hem een veelvervigen rok.
WLC	וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אָהַ֤ב אֶת־יֹוסֵף֙ מִכָּל־בָּנָ֔יו כִּֽי־בֶן־זְקֻנִ֥ים ה֖וּא לֹ֑ו וְעָ֥שָׂה לֹ֖ו כְּתֹ֥נֶת פַּסִּֽים׃
Trans.	wəyiśərā’ēl ’âaḇ ’eṯ-ywōsēf mikāl-bānāyw kî-ḇen-zəqunîm hû’ lwō wə‘āśâ lwō kəṯōneṯ passîm:

AC	ג וישראל אהב את יוסף מכל בניו--כי בן זקנים הוא לו ועשה לו כתנת פסים
ASV	Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colors.
BE	Now the love which Israel had for Joseph was greater than his love for all his other children, because he got him when he was an old man: and he had a long coat made for him.
Darby	And Israel loved Joseph more than all his sons, because he was son of his old age; and he made him a vest of many colours.
